• HOW TO USE

• Test run the device in your hand, not directly on your hair, to understand how it really works: The device has two arms like a hair straightener. They are clamped together when the device is locked. The lower arm holds the cutting mechanism and the hair collection chamber. The upper arm has the power and direction control switches. Remember the device has to be always held such that the arm with the cutting mechanism is always below the hair section. Do not use it in an inverted position with the cutting mechanism above the hair section. The device is powered on and off with the help of a power switch. The switch also acts as a direction changer for the cutting mechanism. Switch on the device by pressing the power switch once. The cutting mechanism gets activated by an automated sensor on when the arms are brought together. The cutting mechanism automatically glides your hair up or down as indicated by the arrow lights. Always remember that you have to move the device in parallel to the floor and towards the floor and not in any other way. Any odd experimentation will block your hair in the cutting mechanism and damage your hair and the device too.
• Now after understanding the working of the device, you can start using it on your hair.
• Take a medium flat section of hair and place it above the cutting mechanism like your place a hair section in between straightener plates.
• Glide the section in the same speed as the cutting mechanism keeps pushing it. Don’t force high speed. Also, do not attempt to keep the device at one spot on the hair section.
• Treat each section of the hair 2-3 times for excessive split-ends and 1-2 times for moderate split-ends.
• Split-ends are collected in the chamber at the bottom of the cutting mechanism. Clean the chamber only after you are done with the session.

Cleaning and maintenance:

This device has a hair collection chamber which collects all the split ends. You need to ideally offload and clean the chamber after every use to avoid clogging of cutting mechanism/blade.

The following steps have to be followed for the same:

• You DO NOT have to wash or clean the cutting mechanism of the device. You have to ONLY empty the split ends from the chamber that collects them.
• Switch off the device and do not keep it connect it to power or charging source.
• Use one thumb gently press the end of the translucent hair chamber where it is locked into the body of the device and slide it off gently from the body.
• Dump off all the hair on a sheet of paper or countertop
• Using the cleaning brush, dust off the hair particles from the cutting mechanism and housing. The bristles of the cleaning brush can get stuck in the cutting mechanism and reduce the blade life. Hence please be gentle during the process.
• The hair chamber can be washed under water. Do not attempt to wash the cutting mechanism or any other part of the device.
• The chamber has to be wiped clean and dried before fitting it back on the body of the device.
• Do not use any serum, liquid, detergent or anything except a bit of dampness (with water) to remove the residue or product deposits from the rods.
• Any physical damages caused intentionally or unintentionally are not covered in warranty. Hence take all precautions during cleaning and storage.

Alan Truman products comes with a 1-year warranty. This is a non-returnable/non-refundable product due to hygiene issues. Incase of defective & damaged products received it can be replaced within 7 days from the date of the order delivered.

• The warranty is confined only to the first purchase of the product and is non-transferable.
• The warranty period starts from the date of purchase of the product.
• Warranty will be valid and can be claimed only with an official proof of purchase.
• The warranty covers only manufacturing defect in material and workmanship that may arise despite normal operation and usage of the appliance.
• Repair of the appliance shall be carried out only by an Authorized Service Personnel, failing which this warranty will be void.
